Events industry body Eventia is calling for entries to its UK Corporate Event Awards as the closing date of Friday 24 August approaches.
Organisers of, and suppliers to, corporate and public events are invited to submit entries online for projects which took place within the UK and were completed between 1 August 2006 and 31 July 2007.

The Awards are divided into 21 categories, of which 11 are dedicated to honouring leading-edge events – including motivational, celebratory and B2B, B2C and B2E events of every description. A further nine categories are devoted to organisers and service providers – including venues, caterers, logistics providers and event management teams. Those entries deemed by the Awards judging panel to be among the best of the best will be short-listed to qualify for the coveted Platinum Award.
In addition to the event and company categories, nominations are sought for an Outstanding Achievement award honouring an individual’s contribution to the industry.
Eventia executive director Izania Downie, said: “Our two awards programmes have been rebranded as the Eventia UK Awards and the Eventia International Awards so that they literally do what they say on the tin, and clearly emphasise our dual objective of identifying the most innovative, creative and challenging work undertaken by our industry both in this country and overseas.”
The Eventia UK Awards will be judged in September by a panel of industry experts, none of whom will have entered the programme themselves. The Awards presentation dinner will take place on Friday 23 November at London’s Hurlingham Club.
